

Southern Lehigh grad earns national honors The team won a regional Civilian Marksmanship Program championship and finished sixth and seventh at the CMP nationals at Camp Perry, Ohio. Whitehall went 21-5 last season, losing to Northampton 5-4 in eight innings of the district title game. Morgan resigned after going 47-26 in four seasons and finishing second in District 11 6A twice. His priority is to continue to have the success that we have had in recent years and to continue to play the game the right way, having success with respect and dignity.” He is looking to add to the stability and success that our program now has by surrounding himself with members of our recent coaching staffs.

Coach Vivian stood out amongst those applicants. “We had a number of quality applicants, because of the importance of softball in our community. “He has had the opportunity to work with some outstanding coaches in Ed Stinner and Blake Morgan and will continue to work with those gentlemen in varying capacities,” athletic director Bob Hartman said. Vivian had been the program’s JV coach the past three seasons and has been active in the sport in the Whitehall community. Whitehall also announced that Jeff Vivian has been approved to succeed Blake Morgan as the program’s new softball coach.
